734 Harden Street is a core historic building in Columbia’s Five Points district which has served the community in many different capacities over the years. Historic tax credits allowed for the restoration of the facade, including removal of all stucco to expose the original brick and refinish it with a historically appropriate treatment.

The building now provides a home for Columbia’s only independent book seller, providing a venue for a vibrant literary community to come together for book signings and events in the store’s back gathering space and outdoor patio.
